I've not fitted one, but if I were to try my first thought would be to remove the safety valve from the boiler and refit it via a tee piece with the whistle in the other side of the tee.

That´s true, Neil.
The other possibility - if you don´t want to fit the T on the top - you could fit the T where the Pressure Gauge enters the boiler.
