What have those *** people at ebay done now?

Hetting funds out of anything now is impossible
Hm it must be possible cos how would the many businesses that use ebay get cash to live? You certainly cant pay your Mortgage from Ebay funds, or can you?

Are you using 'whatever' EvilBay is using as a funding platform these days?

Most of us who have had an account for any length of time, are most likely to be using PayPal, so your funds will be in PayPal.

Transfer from their is obviously done within your PayPal account, and other than the source of the monies being EvilBay, nothing to do with that account within eBay.

Oh any experts here know how to get funds out of Ebay to another parties Bank Account or to your own Bank Account not via a purchase? Used to be easy but had an extensive search last night and could not find anything.
It's tricky - I found that for some reason, they want you to register an account to pay fees even when you list an item where no seller's fees apply.

I couldn't get to the bottom of their reasoning, nor could I understand their reasoning for what type of account they would allow for them to potentially charge non-existent selling fees.

However, after a lot of cussing, I registered our joint bank account (which they won't accept for paying in my sales) and everything was resolved.

I think the AI algorithms have run amok.

My account is a joint one, the one I have always had associated with eBay, and have no issues

That's quite possible if it's been that way since the year dot.

However, when they split with Paypal, and wouldn't put your sales revenue into Paypal accounts, they asked for a bank account with various odd requirements, and it couldn't be joint.

I suspect that some of their requirements are tailored to suit the various financial regulations around the world ..............:rock::rock:

I've had my PayPal acount for some 23 years now. It still bares legacy to my business, that manufactured hand built 1:32, slot cars (see the link to 45 mm railways) One gets the periodic "we have changed our terms" memo and I just wave it through. Again probably allowing adaptation to the way they and the world move. A safe reliable payment and reimbursement system. Never had an issue once with them. Mind you those co investors Theil and Musk, now that's an issue :fearscream: Max
