Well, I found this one by mistake. The motion of the Bachmann Annie is brilliant bright silver - just a bit too spanking. but I didn't fancy taking it all apart etc.

For another job, I was looking for the original Humbrol dirty black, which you can't seem to get any more (it flows better than matt black) :impatient: so in depseration I bought tarmac black.

A big mistake :thumbdown: it's a terrible colour unless you're trying to pain tarmac. think of it as a very dark metallic ....., well blackish colour.

But, wait for it, thin it down and it's perfick for painting on motion, the amount of weathering you give it depends on how much you thin it (or not). You can start light, with lots of thinners, and then work up a bit darker.

The 10-wheeler got the very light weathering treatment.
