This one really takes the cake. An LGB #2215 steam loco and tender. Whoa!!!!! $45,944.57 or best offer. Is he kidding? And he has the gaul to charge shipping!

Yes, it's there. The last item in his Ebay shop.

And a list of terms and conditions longer than your arm ;D

Too good to be true, I'm putting in an offer...

Hmmm. I wonder whether this has gone wrong, because Germans use a comma as a decimals separator and a point for the thousands. Even stranger, he is in Germany, but advertises on Ebay UK in English. He has a lot of Playmobil and LGB stuff, but his advertising is strange, often mentioning LGB and brass track for items that have little to do with it. 100% rating, though.

Even more of a puzzle is the recurring 9!

289.99 pounds - pretty obviously a typo

In looking, once again, at his price, where in the world did he come up with 57 cents [e]293[/e] And one must ask for the English text by mail. Really?

Don't suppose anyone thought to send a question to him about it?

I'd be afraid to ask a question, lest he think I am making a serious offer. I didn't pay nearly that amount for my house !!!

Just checked my watch list. He lowered the price a bit. A very large bit, to $459.45. Still have to wonder where people get these oddball numbers. Usually it's $XXX.95 or $XXX.99. Why do I care. I must have too much spare time on my hands.

Suppose I could offer £28.99 plus the £10.00 carriage..

No more 'silly' than the figures on the page so far..
;) ;) :D ;D

I have one of those, it won't pull more than three 4 wheelers around R3 curves without wheel slip so I put a motor in the tender and masses of extra weight but STILL it judders and slips with only four four wheelers. V strange, very annoying.

Sounds like one motor is faster than the other and they are fighting the grip.

Yes, that's very odd Keith. They should pull like a team of Clydesdales. Are you sure you don't have the connecting cable's polarity crossed [e]356[/e]
