want to build a switch tower

I would like to have a go a building a switch tower for our clubs layout, I would appreciate it if anyone can put in the right direction for plans, drawings and or photos so as I can get ideas.

depends on how detailed you want to be but i have two of these free to a good home...In need of some tlc but maybe a good starting point (the other one is slightly better condition)

In fact for a donation to red nose day i have a complete station if required

Hang on Paul, I have a picture of a tower made by a German Guy Stephan. It may have been posted on here (?) Simple design and looks easy enough to make. I'll find up the pictures for you. It is one of my " To Do " projects.
It is definitely a modern (ish) era Tower.

Well Graham it looks like the others have answered your question for you, I omitted to state that our club layout is indeed mostly US style, with some leaning to European. I was thinking on the following lines.
