Ventilated Van

Saw a few pictures of a modified Accucraft W&L Box Van in GardenRail. So did my own version. Picked up a 2nd hand one at Stoneleigh complete with fancy Brandbright vacuum pipes.

Stripped it down to the component parts - roof, body and chassis. Resprayed the roof grey and added roof vents. Added side and end vents to the body with some platicard, then re-sprayed it white.

Really smart, Doug. Adding the vents turns it into quite a different model. I'd never have thought of that.
Now eying up my two Accucraft vans .....................

PS what glue did you use to fix the plasticard vents?

Superglue.

The Accucraft paint was oversprayed with Halfords pirmer with no problems. The enamal paint that a previous owner had painted on the iron work all blistered off!
