Hi all,
I've just finished modifying and weathering a pair of Aristo 100-ton coal hoppers. I heard elsewhere (possibly on GSM at one point) that some varnishes fade quickly on stock used outdoors.
Can anyone recommend a varnish which has stood the test of time? I'd be applying it with an airbrush, so preferably already mixed to the right consistency, or easy to thin down.
I've modded them by converting them from D&RGW to more recent MoW hoppers by painting patches over the existing databoxes. Do you know of anyone who does decals of the data in 1:29 scale?
Thanks in advance for any ideas,
