Valve gear screws, Bachmann 2-4-2

Hi!

I'm on the lookout for 4 of the plastic screws used to hold the connecting rods onto the wheels of an original version Bachmann Lyn.

Failing that, if anybody could advise of the thread size of said screws I'd be grateful.

Are you sure they are plastic?

I have a very early one here, and they are a dull-grey 'cheesy' alloy of some sort.. - I had one missing, and used the similar headed screw from a Train-Line pack of mixed screws.

Looking at them more closely (I have three that appear to have been glued into a scrap motor block by its previous owner) I think you’re right about the material.

I’ll have a look at that train line 45 pack, thanks!
