USA Trains NW-2 Drive Gears

Hello again
I have an old USA Trains NW-2 which has stripped a drive gear on one axle. However, when I pulled it out, I found that the axle has no bearings and runs directly in the plastic frame of the bogie. When I look at the spares list on the USA Trains website, the replacement axle is the one with bronze bearings which will not my frame. Any ideas?

They do list a complete motor-block as well..
You would then have spares for your other block as well, perhaps?

Thanks but at $60 each plus postage, that is a too expensive option for a loco that cost me £80.l I was thinking about filing out the frame to accept the bronze bearings.

Response from USA Trains Service Dept - "The NW2 and S4 do not have bearings all other locomotives do the photo is probably a generic photo"

Problem solved and two axles on order.
