Uploading Videos

Let's try ......

[video] <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/y7zAn8Nuc24" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> [/video]

[video] video= http://youtu.be/y7zAn8Nuc24 [/video]

Code:
 <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/y7zAn8Nuc24" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

No - no success here. Tried using the two 'code' buttons on the editor and either I've got he syntax wrong or the system doesn't seem to be working.

Maybe Paul can shed some light on it.

I understand there is free software for this but when I have tried to install it you get sidetracked into these "You have a million registry errors do you want us to fix them" type of scenario and if you say yes they say enter your credit card details, so I give up. I get very wary of these downloads which go off at tangents offering you things you don't want

Post the URL!
I'm far to much of a Luddite to cope with code, and nasty brain stretching things like that!

I might have cracked it...

<object width="560" height="315"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/bbKZR3qJDxQ?hl=en_GB&amp;version=3&amp;rel=0"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/bbKZR3qJDxQ?hl=en_GB&amp;version=3&amp;rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="560" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>

YES! Nice interesting video! What was being mined? It looked like Kryptonite!

If my memory serves me correctly, this forum does not support embedded videos. They can take up a huge amount of server memory and this is a free forum after all.
If I'm wrong I am sure another mod will remind me!

No grapes for the Cognac distillery next door - they grow underground here, don't you know;)

:rolf::rolf::rolf::rolf::rolf::rolf:

I didn't know it was your diesel in the first video - very good. The only thing that puts me off, and this is no criticism of your excellent job, is the noise of the engine.

As regards engineering (mechanical & electrical) it embodies the spirit and principles of the full size loco and is well put together indeed:thumbup:

Thanks for posting Brian.

There's a difference between uploading a video (which would indeed fill the server) and embedding a video hosted on another site eg youtube. Seems folk can't get embedding to work on this forum. I've not tried.

Just to put you right it's NOT my diesel in the first video, it has been built by another Expat Brit here in France, Carl Hibbs for yet another Expat Van Calvert. Mine is a copy of Carl's diesel but much less well engineered.

If interested, you could follow this and a lot more Live Diesel stuff over at the Continental Garden Trains Forum www.cgtrains.com
