For the first day of fall here where I live in the USA was very unfall like. Temp around 92'F and humid which = no plume once the engine warmed up and very sticky outside. But once the direct sun light was off my railway, it was time to raise some steam. This picture was taken while I was waiting for steam to raise. I will post a youtube video link shortly. Video isnt the best, was trying to film with my smart phone, run the RC transmitter which still had the centering spring on the combined direction/throttle lever. Which has now been removed! My Mayflower still sports her original mid 1980's 27mhz AM radio control, which in my area is quite glitch free now that most everything else is digital. I do not even put the antenna up much on the transmitter, just a section or two is all. On larger lines, I do fully extend the eye poker! Mike the Aspie
