Tramway water car

Hi!

Has anyone ever considered making one of these (with or without the snowplough)? I was considering using the LGB tram with the centre passenger saloon cut away and replaced by the tank off the Toy Train range. Whether the tank can be made to spray operationally is another matter...

FYI the original is an ex-Neuchatel car now on the Blonay-Chambey museum in Switzerland and is one of the few (maybe only) survivor of a vehicle type that was once fairly common in the days before streets were covered in tarmacadam.

The cute little Green and Cream one can be found in Melbourne its actually a scrubber car. I was thinking of building one of similar style probably using a Bachmann enclosed car suitably adressed by the razor saw and filler. I wanted it to work and proposed to fill the tank with metho to drip onto some sort of vibrating pads..... Well you get the idea....
