Thank you for posting the beautiful photos .
There are so many good looking trams .
Rumor of new Bachmann trolley paint schemes , maybe painted somewhat like a couple of these ?

I thought I knew what colours I would paint my proposed shortened Perley Thomas - but now I'm not so sure!

Some from UK - all recent at Blackpool.
Early UK trams had livery styles largely similar to Europe.
Most were later simplified.

thanks Alyn-
i cannot get over the one of the dark olive /black green and light yellow green #40 -presumably Koln-with the LGB driver in his blue double breated brass buttoned coat-

looks just like LGB, come to life!

love the open tram-like a sight seeing car

interesting how less often blue is used, seemingly, compared to other colors

An excellent folio of tram pics, very well taken as well as being interesting to say the least. Ah, but there's one you haven't got in that selection - where's the Edinburgh tram? Rumour has it that TIE Edinburgh are trying to lease out their trams to try to offset the spiralling costs. Snag is the trams they have bought are too long for most UK systems. Oh well, they can always turn them into henhouses, that's what used to happen to old trams, only snag is these aren't very old. Actually phots of Edinburgh trams might become quite rare, wonder where they are? The empty shell in Princes Street has been removed, was becoming a bit of an embarrasment
