At the show yesterday as well as the live steamer in another thread this caught my eye I've been looking for one of these for ages and there it was on a dealer stand bit expensive at $55.00 but if you can't find one thn I guess you pay what is asked!! anyway Brand new perfect condition ( But not for long after being dragged around my yard) Now all I need it to find a Carpet 'oover.................

Also found a brand new street lamp (which I don't need) but for $10.00 I wasn't going to leave it there!!

love those grey box cars with the yellow shadow lettering-

you paid the going rate paul-

all of mine have been right around that price-and youre lucky to find them

now, you must find a red and green coach-and the little brown one too-both pretty tough but with patience youll find them and possibly at a good price too-rare -but not commonly sought after

and -the toy train grey box with platform-
then a bottle of bordeaux, some ripe soft gooey french camembert cheese and some french bread.................
some french cafe music..........

those french cars and corpets really grow on you-they did me
i think they might be the BEST proportioned LGB loco

Oh dear...the cats gotten it!

Just don't go crazy purchasing stuff, or you may find yourself like me drowning in stuff and be downsizing like I've been doing for the last year. I went crazy buying stuff when San Val closed, now I only buy stuff now I really just can't pass up and I tend to sell something to make room for the new thing.

I have a Corpet, green open cab, but I'm on the lookout for a grey version - it's just so quintissentialy french - along with some vans and coaches to spray to match. I might even squeeze some garlic juice and aniseed into the paint and have a stroppy guard with half a Gauloise hanging from his lower lip. Would have to name the loco 'Agincourt' or similar though :D

Great boxcar Paul, just make sure it does not run away or surrender if it sees you playing around with any firearms!
