Hi in my new exstention I have a cross over going into a R1 lt pt, I have a spacer in between them, my problems is sometimes the locos stop before the cross over or on the spacer, I am MTS and if I check the track with out a loco it shows power all the way, sometime with the loco near there is no power on the lt side of the pt, this was a problem way back with Peco O Guage pts and I used to take a pick-up from the straight rail and solder both . Is this the same thing in MTS G scale? Les

Don't forget that you must have TWO bad joints to stop a loco! If it was just one bad joint the loco would bridge the gap and carry on but if it stops there must be another bad joint ahead of it to create the gap necessary to actually stop the Loco.............
