Loaded into our van and trailer, the Branch and its surly crew rolled up the highway to Arnprior on Friday afternoon.

The modules spend their downtime on dedicated carts in the trailer, winter and summer, sheltered from the elements but not from the temperature changes.

Underside of a corner module; the legs are attached with folding brackets.

The corners have legs only at the outer ends; the other end is supported by the straight module between them.

The modules are connected with loose-pin hinges that take care of line, level and lock. The pins do sometimes require persuasion by hammer.

The lifting bridge allows movement in and out of the oval for those of us not limber enough to limbo.

Bridge rail clamps hold the ends of the rails on the lifting span in alignment when the bridge is down. They also connect track power from the span to the isolated sections on the approaches to the bridge; if the span is raised, the approaches are dead.

Control is by Aristo-Craft 27MHz Train Engineer Tx/Rx units, fed 22v (or so) DC.
Track power is fed to and between the modules through 4-wire trailer connectors; a homemade Y allows me to connect the power box at any joint between modules.

Chris, those shots of the securing/alignment arrangements for the lifting bridge section were worth their weight in gold to me - my problem with the garage door cable-tray bridge has just been solved! Many thanks.
