The GSS Show Nottingham 19 May

I know a few people on the forum are "not impressed" with either the show and/or location, but it is the only GSS national event.
Anyway point of this is I am going, travelling up Saturday, and considering dropping in on Casey on the way up.
 
Another place to look around is the GCR(N) at Ruddington Jimmy. Just to the south of Nottingham.

And definitely call in at Rothley....
 
This is not aimed at the topic starter or thouse going.. Well, if anyone's not impressed... Volenter, and do it better... Always looking for volunteers who can help.., run it. Organise it, move it... And yes I will be going, organising the raffle ect..

I will have to miss it again this year as we have just arrived in Knoxville for a nearly four week stay.

Yep, lots of grizzlers out there. Whenever I get disheartened with one of the regular shows, I do one of two things. I either give up on the show (usually because of some dominant 'personality' that will never change), or I get stuck in, and help out. Used to be that I normally 'gatecrashed' the shows, as in convinced them that they needed me. Now days, organisers from other shows approach my exhibit, and before they get a chance to open their mouths, it's 'OK, where is it this time, and when?'..... 'How many tables this time?' Turns to his mate and says 'See, nothing too it'.
