Hello there,
My brother-in-law gave me a few old pallets for free. Thanks !
So I had an idea: build a very small layout (or a big pizza layout) on one of these pallets. It could be an indoor or a real garden railway but right now I don't know. I'll use Piko G scale curved track (600mm radius). The diameter is 160cm. I used 12mm chipboard for the baseboard laying on the old pallet. Maybe one day I can run a steam loco. Only God knows...

The little big layout:

Right now, I'm working hard on my first project: buying a MSS side tank loco. I'm still waiting for the green light from the authorities.

Be careful of a MSS loco they can be a bit uncontrollable, and go a bit quick

They're reasonable on the flat, and with a bit of effort they can be tamed to run - a few wagons on the rear end, especially MSS wagons will tame them :nod::nod:

Hello Normandine,
This circle was my beginning in large scale but be sure it grows fast.
My girls want to have switching and I could not resist, they are nice and sweet until today. Now I have 3 grandsons and 2 granddaughters and they all are railroad fans. Hope to be back soon to Germany to serve their needs.
The Normandie is the only place we don`t know, the south coast we know from Monaco to Agde, friends in Orange and Avignon and the tour from Germany to the south.
I´m looking forward to seeing your creations.
There`s a prototype for everything!

That reminds me of my then 6 and 8 year old daughters, Playmobil pirate ship in the pond and the crew stopped and entered the train for robbery.
The pirate ship had it`s home on the "island with two mountains" in the middle of the pond with arthesic fountains.

There`s a prototype for everything!

PS I`m now Grandpa of 3, 5 and 8 year old grandchildren an another 5 and 8 year old from the younger daughter.
It was a lot of fun to play trains with them:)
