PCC cars were a revolution in the tram/streetcar world. I'll never forget the Leeds variant on test in 1953.

That location, in Windber, PA, keeps coming up on one of the US preservation websites that I frequent.
I think the owner has managed to sell a few on, but the majority are just continuing to rot away..........and unlikely to go to new homes.

I found these a few years ago sitting in an industrial parking lot in the Kensington section of Philadelphia. I wonder if they are still there or if Mr met has acquired them.
