The Diggle Valley RailRoad Roundhouse

Well after a few more weeks, we finally have built the 2nd 1/4 of our shed, well the frame :bigsmile:
Sandy who is behind the frame is the mad man who has decided to built this mental project.. And i think he's very pleased with how it looks
Oh, by the way, IT'S HUGE!!:rolf:

Now the notorious task of roofing and tiling will begin next week... :impatient:

No not yet Phil, we are nearly there... only another 4 more stalls to go and another 20,000 tiles :rolf::rolf:
Sandys had a fair few locos chipped...
When going down in the pit, we will have elf and safety signs, ear defenders and steel to cap boots must be worn... :thumbup:

Hello Richie, we have just been using stepladders, you can walk on there... completely solid :bigsmile:
 
Right, I havent posted in a while, becuse i've been told not to.. no pictures will be posted until after the open day, so why not make a day of it?
no doubt Sandy (owner and builder of the DVRR) will post here to give you some more info...
If you want to see the roundhouse, you'll have to make the trip to a little place called diggle when we have our open day, 11th september...

Erm, quite a lot, because theres a sheet of aluminium plastic sandwich sheet under them... :bigsmile:

This is the last 3 stalls to finish off the right hand side of the layout..
Tracks just need situating for these 3 stalls then we need to do some wiring and we're good to go :clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:

I enjoy myself On the DVRR with open days, just a couple of trains running around... :thumbup:
