Hey Y'all; that set of stairs was definitely built to last,

Well, in truth, that brick lower story 'fortress' might potentially outlast the stairs.

Crossing the IC diamond at Pana, Illinois, is NYC's Southwestern Ltd with E8A 4041 and one passenger car in November 1965. The New York, NY to St. Louis, Mo Southwestern Limited was one of New York Central's Luxury passenger trains. By the mid-60's the Southwestern Ltd struggled, with the last run on October 30, 1966.
