I have to say I lusted after one last Saturday. Still wish they had chanelled their energies to a Harz Railbus though.

I like it a lot but I fear my limited modelling skills and experience may not do it justice, the instructions on the Swiftsixteen website look a wee bit complicated to me ??? at least they now make the "speedwhisker" decals

Certainly a nice model, and it appears to have a hint of 1950's Park Royal bus bodywork about it.

Yes I think that is very true, pretty much a NG Bogied version. But still liking it a lot.

Does it not come out a little small, if put next to the rest of the LGB stock though? - Assuming 16mm / 2 foot gauge.

I would have thought that the oposite is the case as we are in the realms of 20-24 Mm to the foot.to my eye it looked just OK.
