led zep spurs lgb
noticed that the track bed wash drooping under the weight of the v52 when I took the ali edges off saw that the ply was a bit rotten.

so with the daylight fading I decided to mend/ replace the manky ply , a quick trip round the outlaws to get the jig saw back and had to listern to how lucky spurs were and the back home to cut up a sheet of ply and all I had to cover it was a can of ronseal stuff in a grotty red , but after an hour job done

it will look better when the ali edges are back and the track is ballasted

I'd be tempted to seal the edges with a couple of coats of shellack - belt and braces never hurts and can save some heart ache

Decking board works for me :D

How do you join the pieces of decking Steve

Nice and neat Steve. But I agree - thats what I did. Two layers one half overlapping the one below and plenty of wood screws. :)

Did not take any more pics , flat steel 4" square 3 holes each side joints glued ,Ian S knows what the glue is its the dogs diddly bits

Heavy
