Straightening Pola plastic.

I'm currently rebuilding an old Pola building. The roof sections each have a bow in them which I wish to straighten. I'm assuming that being clamped in a vice probably won't work and was wondering how best to use a heat source without damaging them. Ideas include hair dryers, electric irons and ovens.
If anyone has any experience of doing this, suggestions wouldn't be welcome.

I put a warped roof out in the sun with a brick on it to straighten it.
I am in Aust and the daytime temp is around 32C probably wouldn't work in the UK .
After saying that clamp it between 2 pieces of heat absorbing material, steel or concrete pavers and put in an oven at about 50C for a few hours.
Take the clamps off and if it is still not straight repeat.

Good evening GAP.
That was a very quick response, for which many thanks. I'm not too sure how the good lady will react to the oven solution especially with the smell of heated plastic, but must try it. I assume fifty degrees is safe enough.
Thanks again,
Trevor

Washing up bowl (old one!) / seed tray (no drainage holes).. Plastic, bow-upwards.. Brick.. Kettle of recently boiled water.. .. Leave to cool .. .. .. .. Possibly repeat?

If you can then fix a length of Ali. angle under the roof-sections (out of sight) it should help.

PhilP.

Thanks Phil. I think that complies with (my) health and safety.

T,
Be a devil and do the oven method.:devil:
If you're not living on the edge you are taking up too much space; I do not take up any room at all when it comes to SWMBO.:eek:

She on the other hand is sailing close to the wind, when I came home from the railway in the gardens (1:1 scale) she had been in my shed "tidying up".
Ground for divorce from where I stand!!!!! ;);)

Morning all.
You ask a simple(ish)- sounding question and look how it develops. Love it! Mars and Venus eh? Apologies if I am responsible for marital disharmony.
Trevor
Thanks for the time spent.
