yes it is-while too complicated to fully explain-you could use a half wave section as  the slowing section-

magnets to trigger a relay to an LGB timer -of i you had the jumbo LGB unit simply a relay to trigger the decel and then have an automatic accel again

no doubt there are other ways and less pricey but i dont know these off hand

you could also have one train trigger the other re stopping and starting

I have been using Roecks "Station Stopper" for years. His products are great. He will even modify them to suit your amperage needs. He has been very easy to deal with. I purchased my first product from him in 1995.
