Hi Fellas & Gals,

Haven't posted for a while - been suffering from depression :crying: - over six weeks of pretty much non-stop rain here in West Wales... However, spent a lot of time building lineside electronics and containing buildings for use come the 'Indian Summer' (he says hopefully) Anyway to the point, I buy memory and batteries from this company - they have been pretty good to deal with and today I received this email..... may be just the thing for that 'on board' video!

Will make more effort to post again soon!

Hi Rob.
I have just got one of these and it's very small.
We have tried it clipped to the sunvisor on our works truck, on it's travels.

The video is excellent for such a small device.
I'm goner stick it on the front of some trains to see how it goes, hopefully this weekend.

Cant find it on there web site :crying:

Cheers Pugs , now have one on order

It's a wonder you can still read the numbers on your credit card!

Here is a video I quickly did this afternoon with the F&H Mini Camcorder.
For what you get it's excellent quality.
Sorry for all the garden clutter in the vid but I'm doing a lot of tidying

Brilliant , cant wait for mine to turn up now.

Diffrent question , since i bought my new Sony Cyber shot DSC-W380 its brilliant for pictures but video is a nightmare.

The camra now creates the video in HD MP4 and i dont appear to be able to do anything with it .

Quicktime Pro?

or Google edit mp4....their is tons of stuff out there.
Depends if you want free or pay stuff.

If you want to get Windows movie maker to work with these you will have to add the codec but don't ask me how

Yep!
It's darn good when the whole thing is about the size of your thumb.

I put a 4gig card in mine....reckon maximum record just shy of an hour.
A commute from work to home, approx 17mins racked up 1.2gig.

This is near HD quailty.....albeit with a tiny lens......but for the price......

The video on youtube was cut from about 600Mb with Windows Movie Maker and was uploaded as a wmv of 73Mb.

Mike/Spike,

That's very impressive.
I will have to get one of those.

B****r they are out of stock!
I hope Rob got commission on all those sales.

Ebuyer has them but they are £25 at the mo without the card.
They quite often drop them to £19.99 though.

Cracking tip! Worth buying for the 8Gb card alone. Mine is on order now too!

Glad it was a useful post - haven't actually ordered one yet as I already have 3 of the keyfob ones, but this might be useful to clip on my car sunvisor - in case anyone does a round-a-bout stop and claim!!!

and commission - I wish Graham.... I just find this company good especially for memory cards & rechargeable batteries!

Do you mean at 7dayshop? Still showing "awaiting stock" as far as I can see.... or did you order from somewhere else?

Loads of these on ebay. I've just "bought it now" for about £7 including postage from China - that's camera only, no SD card. I've got a 4GB card spare.

Got to be worth a punt I reckon.

My camera came today , and the memory card, the instructions are so small print even with my all seeing giant lens I cannot read them, I need to paint the camera wiv lumo paint cos if I loss it in the garden I will never find it,
plenty of brackets tho so should be interesting, looking forward to finding the buttons haha
