These are excellent! Really well done. I recently bough a 3D printer too but have yet to develop the CAD skills. You're doing a stellar job.

I actually have a use for the Cement Mixer for an upcoming Open Day so thank you for sharing.
Hi Curtis
Tinkercad is a really easy way to get into 3D CAD. I tried FreeCAD, OpensCAD, SketchUp and Fusion360 and struggled with all of them. I managed to produce some drawings with SketchUp but they refused to print. With Tinkercad, the learning curve is shallow and so far I've never had a drawing which has failed to print.

It's limitations are that it can't do fancy stuff (like fillets between two cylinders) and it has to be used online, but it is very surprising how much you can do. For example ....

ge_rik ge_rik thanks for sharing this. SketchUp was what I was looking at and there is a lot to learn. Felt like a steep curve which I'm sure would be worth it but right now it's more a means to do an end as opposed to wanted to get a deep understanding of the technology.

I'll check out TinkerCad as it appears to also be available on the mac which is nice!

Many thanks!

This tutorial of mine is probably the quickest and easiest way into it........

But as I said earlier - there are dozens of tutorials on the web and YouTube

Everyone likes something different. I like Fusion360. I learned the basics quickly. And I don't need more. I like that I can start from 2D drawings. :D
It's possible to export Tinkercad drawings directly into Fusion 360. I've not tried it yet, but it is on the agenda.
