After the success with the "Really Cheap Carriage Lighting" (see earlier thread) using the Flicker Effect tea lights from the pound shop, I dug out an old Tenmille home signal kit that's been sitting in my To-Do pile for ages.
After opening out the white metal lamp casting to accept the LED, I simply made up the kit and wired it to the inverted tea light base, which now acts as a switched battery holder.
