Scratch building another one...

Having some old plastic signs lying around and spare playmobil chassis I needed a shunter loco for my poor but worthy railway.
So it's under construction , but managed to have a run. Just to check clearances of course.

Been away on holiday so there's been a bit of downtime in the engineering shop.
Managed to get a bit more done at last!



Control box made from a piece of wood, rubber bump stop for kitchen door and couple of nails.



Some hatches were made from card and wooden coffee stirrers.



Then the roof from a piece of thin corrugated aluminium.

So nearly finished. Wil add some mor edetails, coupling of some sort and a coat of paint.

This is also removable from the playmobil chassis so can be taken off and replaced with my small rail bus.

Needs weathered to take away the 'fresh' look and work out some couplings.

Thanks but no they're not.
They are the 'bling' things ladies stick on their finger nails and other things.

Stick them on, paint them, job done.
Probably a tiny bit over scale but close enough.
