Santa arrives early.......

They dont understand!

I like the loco a lot.
I could easily justify it running on my "Austrian" railway - 2 number 0-10-0 s ran on the StLMB - Kh101 and Kh111
I don't like the price tag.

Unless the Euro value reduces considerably, I won't be getting one.

Thanks Martin - I don't get GBP on regular subscription, what I tend to do is wait and order a batch of them a year at a time (I do the same with Volldampf). I picked up several copies of GBP at the TL45 shop in Wernigerode on our visit in May, but I still need to buy the last four (or so) issues..... out of interest, what do they charge you for a regular subscription including post to the UK?

Can you summarise their main points on the VIk? Do they like it? Any problems noted?

Jon.

Have sent you an email.

I hope we shall see this loverly loco at the next Salcott meeting in Jan, Jon?

Hi Chris - yes, definitely, along with its full rake of matching Sachsen historic coaches! :)

Have a great Christmas, see you in January....

Jon.

A recently-posted German vid of a VIk being unboxed and tested on a nice indoor layout..... some of the stock on the storage shelves that you see as the loco does its circuit looks rather interesting too....

As a comparison, a rather nice prototype vid - I think that M/LGB have captured the sound pretty well!
