The first nice day for quite a while allowed Keith and me to run a few trains. Keith had his live steam Billy (with RC and Slo-mo) and I ran a couple of steamies and a noisy diesel.

Hi Greg,
Nice shot in the shed.. Nice to see something running on your line again.

I like the orange dismal - is it scratch built?
There were 2 diesels - in the video the smaller #13 and the picture had the front of the larger #19. Both are scratchbuilt.
Here's the link to the article on building #19, but the pictures don't show. Something to do with being from 2011. There are some links to videos in that article. The driver rotates to face the direction of travel !

Nice Pics and Vid Gregh. Presumably Keith's Loco has a Resonator Whistle, be good to know who's make.

I now have 2 SloMo Roundhouse Locomotives and they both have Chuffers. What a transformation.

Also where are the Spiders Webbs in the Shed, my Garden just now has the things everywhere. Have a good Summer, think about is poor blighters over here approaching the doom that is Winter in the UK.

Great to see you gearing up for the summer, Greg. We're battening down the hatches and preparing for Autumn/Winter.
Some really nice looking shots of the railway.

Brilliant as always Gregh always an insparation

I liked the green and cream diesel rail motor! Sounded a bit like a stream of high-pitched farts were being made by it though.
Sure Greg will conform, but I suspect the Railcar has an early MyLocoSound Chip in it, they indeed sound like you suggest. I have just removed one from my Railcar and fitted a more recent one which is much better. The early ones were I believe Digitally Produced Sound, the newer ones have some element of Sampled Sound in and are much better. Though I think that the Hooter is still Digital. I reckon the Diesel in Greg's Vid is a newer Sound Unit.

You've either got weird ears or loudspeaker problems! :D The only farts come from the live steamer. Steamers either sound like sparrow farts or if fitted with some so called magic chuffer, maybe pigeon farts.
