Running a short consist on the SVRR test track

This last weekend I managed to lay hands on a set of Bachmann passenger cars. I picked up the baggage car, coach, and observation car locally for $20 apiece. The brand new, never run combine got bought at the train show on Saturday for $30.

I ran it to work out some derailing problems with one of the used cars, and the new car.

Wish I could find some at that price, or even double!


Late edit, I've been looking for ages for some s/h ones at sensible money and they're just not out there this side of the damp patch - at any price!

I could have spent a serious amount of money at they show. One dealer had a huge display of cars, all in boxes, from various manufacturers. The top shelf was mostly Bachmann, and they were all $30.

Checking the lights on the coaches. By the end of the video, I had all but one light lit, without doing anything.
