Must be a state of the art camera, most have a fixed depth of field from 2cm to infinity, vision mixing is ace too.
These are going to cause some drooling for sure.

Thanks for the positive comments. Yes, I am lucky to have a Dad who loves the RhB - as a grad student I don't quite have the budget. The Camera is a Canon 5D mk II full frame DSLR. Its video capture mode gives me complete control over lens aperature and manual focus. Most importantly, using professional camera lenses from Canon gives a 35mm movie camera depth of field and angle of view vs. your typical camcorder.
