Live steam on the indoor K&NWLR
A short video of Regner´s new Achenseebahn rack railway locomotive in action at the Echtdampf-Hallentreffen 2015 today in Karlsruhe.

Flickr seems broken: I can see pictures and the preview frame of the video, but when I try to play it all I get is a circle turning. When I click the download link I am told the page is private and I don't have permission to view it.

Thanks for letting me know. I´ll try to get it up and running again. >:(

I´ve put this on Facebook as well on the Kent & North Wales Light Railway page, if you want to check it out there. It´s quite a piece of machinery. ;D

Fascinating, having been to the real line it was a joy to see the Live Steam Regner one preforming. Many thanks for posting.

Video worked fine for me - thanks for posting it!
Looks really good, and very effective - while I've never ridden the Achenseebahn, I had many a trip on the similar Schafbergbahn as a kid while on holiday.

I'm assuming that the Regner loco runs on the standard LGB plastic rack rails - or have Regner produced their own?

Their Rigi No 7 rack railway loco works with LGB central rack system, and I believe this one´s the same.

An interesting model, thanks for sharing :)
