Radial axial blocks

Hi
I am building a 31/2 gauge locomotive that requires radial axial blocks just want to check which way the angled faces go
If for example I continue the angle line from both blocks to form triangle using the axial as the base line would the point of the triangle point forward or backward

Hi ,
The point of the triangle would be pointing to the rear. The angle of the face of the blocks will be tangents to an arc struck from the centre of the virtual pivot point of a normal trailing truck
