Hi Paul (hope you've forgiven me for my offer to swap my sparrowhawk(s) for your mole(s) ) looks as if you've solved the problem pretty well, really looking good.....
must admit to having run out of my own supply of rock - will have to dig a few more gardening areas for my wife, sure to find a few more

Regards
Rob

I'd swap anything for the moles - mind you they seem to have calmed down a bit since I've banged a lot of slates into the ground
the sheep is getting back in again now :(
good luck with the rocks

Just caught up with your thread Paul.....the new section looks great (I knew it would)

Hi Paul
cheers - loads to do yet
hope you're doing ok

I thought it was time to spruce up my timber train as per W&L in Cartwright's excellent book
I cut logs to the longest I thought I could get away with
attached to the bolsters with rubber bands - temp arrangement til I can sort something out with chains

The bolsters worked well and looked good snaking up through the bends

Cheers Mel
looking forward to seeing that laundry in its new location too

haven't posted for a while - everything seems to get in the way of railway activity

a bit more work on the landscaping though, a ton of slate chips, and some more stone on the quarry mountain

Russell and train bunker first, ascending the spiral

plans are afoot for a disused 32mm quarry feeder formation across the slate

once the slate and membrane has weighed down and killed off the grass for a while, a roadway and yard can be laid
