Pwll Dylluan Railway - Welsh NG in the mountains

Nice pics of Russell :) :o

Tidied up the yard area between the steam up sidings and the station today
Clearing, weed membrane and 6mm grit mainly
this tends to weather down nicely after a bit of rain

Dic Penderyn (RH Jack) stops at the water tower which may need to be resited to suit running line and siding

Next job though is the grassy mess to the left of the new bit. Need more slate for that

Cheers Paul
I think this area would be good to try out your postcrete idea once I am sure the sidings are in their final positions
More slate now available left over from authorized gardening activities

Playmobil loco - a recent addition to the fleet - for the grandkids
looks are a little unusual but very functional, quite strong for 6xAA power, runs well apart from slow shunting, and very easy for little ones to use
also useful for retrieving abandoned rolling stock when steam runs out

Did a bit of landscaping in the station approach area today, and replaced the broken bridge

Nice slate. That´s the effect I´m trying for at the edges of cuttings on the K&NWLR - indoors ::) But you´d be surprised what a little bit of mangled slate can do to the feeling of quasi-outdoorsness.

first run for a while
new W&L Peate wagon, from Trackshack months ago
