Power Buffer Charging time

Hi
How long after track power is applied to the loco before the buffer powers up and will the capacitor warm up when it is charged .

A few seconds. Massoth quoted 4 seconds on an older version that I had.

As above, seconds..
In normal use, I would not expect the capacitor(s) to get appreciably warm. - Especially before the loco has been run, and they have done any work.
