Potentially dodgy LGB on ebay.co.uk

This and several other items appeared on ebay yesterday afternoon just minutes after they had been auctioned off by Astons and the photos are actually those from the Aston's auction catalogue:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LGB-70642...=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item2317753e6f
Since the items are stated located in Turkey there is no possible way for them to be there since even if they were collected on the auction day it would take a few days to get them to turkey!

The top brand labelled clothing on the other items bar also doesn't inspire confidence.

And at a hefty mark up....
Altho thats the way to make money if you can afford to sit on stock for a while:rolf: and afford to give e-bay/paypal a chunk ;)

Doesn't necessarily make it "dodgy", but I'll admit I normally ignore ebay lots from places like Turkey.
I wouldn't take a punt on something that expensive based solely on a photo of the outside of the box.
Going by Aston's posted sales results looks like it was bought for £400 at the auction (presume that excludes commission etc.), and is on ebay starting at £750.

Oh and i have asked for some more pictures coz im not paying £750 for a possible empty box!! ;) :rolf::rolf:

its a free market,,, if he can make a bob or two then thats ok,,,,

the feedback looks ok and if you pay by paypal your covered,,,,

i like these locos,,, they are huge and run great,,,,

Its Dodgey!!!!!!!
Below is the reply from my message and the bloke carnt tell the truth to save his life....

Dear t********3,

Hi,
Thank you for your interest. I am in "post-Myocardial infarction"
recovery period and this problem is resulted by restricted physical
activities. Because of that, I will sell all of my LGB items which are more
than 500 pieces in total with one or two pictures each. Taking pictures of
each item by one by is real trouble for me at the moment. I will try my
best. This set touched to tracks just for couple of times to make a show
of. If you interested in G Scale please follow my page.
Best regards &
good luck

So all lies then!

If if it was genuine he would have had to have been listing them whilst the auction was still on, which is possible with an iphone but not very likely.

As i was at the Astons yesterday and was the person that made the guy pay what he did eg i was the bloke that bid up to £380 in truth i saw it to resale for £550 so with comision it cost hin £450..... he is a local to Brum and bought alsorts not just G scale........ i did try to have a word with him to see if he would like to come to an arrangement where we wernt bidding agaisnt each other but he declined..
That set was ok maybe a bit dusty but "good playworn" i got a message from a member on here 1 hours after i had left the auction on the way home to say the stuff he bought had been listed using Astons photos (very naughty if you ask me) but thats upto him

By the way i bought a fair bit of the stuff and its all ok condition but so i dont upset the rules its all going on Ebay

Just one thing to make you smile... there was a little Spreewald the discription said "Has broken bits" the loose bit inside the box was a crank off a wizzy cranks and the spree is perfect .....you guesed it there was a wizzy (Quite ruff) in the auction with a missing crank that i made the other guy pay £130 +com which is the one hes also has listed in good running condition...for £220 i think... so anyone got a crank missing let me know and il put it in the post :rolf::rolf::rolf:

Please i do hope no one on here bought the track cleaner loco without looking at it first :@:@:@

Worth a report to Ebay?
After all it's an untruth and designed to mislead on the provenance.
In addition I saw a 'myocardial infarction' claim used on Ebay a couple or three weeks ago. Can't recall the specific item but it was G Scale.

A Welsh Turkish excile with a brumy accent and a dicky heart ....poor chap needs something to go right for him :rolf::rolf::rolf:

He probably puts Turkey on to justify his high postal charges. £19.99 for a Feldbahn loco!!! I don't believe it.
