Is that a Ffyffes banana van Phil or just plain orange. I'm in the middle of an expedition into the garage so will keep an eye out. The ones in the adverts are both short wheelbase, did you notice?

Very gentle application of mail varnish remover or brake fluid is a less harsh alternative.

Here are a couple of my Toytrain Wagons, both had the lettering removed with a Fibre Glass pen. You can on the red one just make out some of the lettering between the planks With the dulled off area where it was removed. But the sprayed one has lost it altogether on the respray.
