Point cover thingy

I got this R3 point today and it has a beautiful cover between the tracks. It looks so realistic!

How are these called and are these available separately so I can add them to my R1 points?

Interesting..
Metal plates with that (or similar) anti-slip patterning are known as 'chequer plate'. - Even if the pattern is not square or diamond in shape!
