Thanks for the feedback, chaps. Never sure if I've got the balance right. I think maybe this one could have been a bit shorter

like the bees in Peckforton station
Hi Paul
Oddly, there are wasps on my other video (the loco roster one). Maybe they're really hypothetical bees and wasps attracted by the hypothetical soft fruit trains running from Bulkeley ;D

Did you dub any of the loco noises post production? - I think you did..??

Is the simplex a sound card, or added in post production, please? ;D ;D

Hi Phil
Yes - I added sound to the Ore Train video - at the start.

The Simplex sound on the loco roster video is from a (very) cheap greetings card sound module (£1.29 inc postage from China) - slightly modified to get the sound to loop (one wire soldered to the mic terminal). Unfortunately there's a 0.5 second pause at the end of each 10 second cycle - not found a way of avoiding that yet. I posted some info about it here - https://www.gscalecentral.net/index.php?topic=301491.0

Another great video Rik :)
Thanks Kev and John
I tend to take the camera out with me each time I have an operating session - just in case something interesting crops up. Sometimes the shots are a bit ramshackle as I just plonk the camera down without properly framing the shot. This time, I thought I'd try a few panning shots with the ore train. I find it difficult to pan smoothly. There are more shots than shown here on the metaphorical cutting-room floor - must keep practising.
