I've always wanted a garden railway, it's always been indoors 0 and N for me. I recently retired and have started with a pond, appropriately named "The Screaming Frog Pond" because the frogs don't "rib-bit" but SCREAM till sunrise.

It's rather small, but easy to maintain, about 2.5 x 1.25 meters.
The first phase will be a simple loop of track going behind the waterfall, a tunnel, then transversing across a home made-bridge.
I picked up some supplies today at the hardware store for the bridge construction.

Next phase, probably next Spring will include a bigger loop, some turnouts and a train shed.
Stay tuned...
