You may remember back in February 2010 I resprayed my Piko railbus to a lovely shade of green.

Problem was I had some trouble tracking down yellow trimline to line it out. Thanks to a kind offer from Whatlep on Saturday the railbus now has its lining and whiskers.

Thanks Peter.

My pleasure. I just couldn't cope with that naked front end any longer!

She looks fantastic. I was thinking of getting one & sending it away to be painted as I am so hamfisted , I would probably ruin it if I did it myself . I would choose cream for the strips & whiskers adding bands at the opening window height & guttering height , however this would probably cost the earth . Yellow panels at the front would be another option. Still yours is an inspiration to us all .

3 Valve's version looks like a Derby Lightweight, and lovely it is too. Not that I am in any way biased :D and is Whatlep G scales answer to Von Dutch?
