Could be Chas. Are ther bogies opposite ways round to each other - In which case the coloured wires have switched over. i.e you need one f each colour in your track feed terminals.

<p>looking at the instructions for the 36120, I think you have wheel pickup wiring connected incorrectly? Brown and white (they're the feeds from the wheels, right?) should go to connections 1 & 2, in your photo they're in 1 and 3? if its saying overload, its sounds like the chip is wiired incorrectly, please check the wireing..

hehe, we've all done it!

It's amazing what a photo will reveal, that's why when I make a model and spray it with primer I usually take a bunch of digital photos to study - shows up any nasties that you just don't spot with the naked eye.

Be interested to know what you think of the Piko decoder, it's not one I'm familiar with?

And the sound unit looks very much like it is a Dietz MicroXS unit. That connector on the decoder it is plugged into would be a SUSI interface.

Yes, the sound units are from Dietz - my favourite sound units, by the way :applause:
