I can get the Pico 35020 transformer here in US. It is made by Massouth.
Is it compatible with the LGB 55005P Central Station, I would prefer not to go to the expense of replacing the whole DCC equipment!

I don't know what transformer came with that set, can you give me the model number of the transformer, then we can compare specifications, I believe it is a 5 amp AC transformer, no big deal.

6 amps, 20v ac, but my specs say it is 220v input, your flag shows USA, in fact Fallbrook, pretty near me.

So, you have a European system and need it for usa?

The Piko says 6 amps 20 volts, but it is DC....

I don't know if the LGB will run on DC, and normally the voltages are different between AC and DC (input)

I expect it depends where your ohm is.

All LGB MTS units I II IIP can use DC 24 volt input and I do this with my MTS I and MTS IIP systems. Look at the label and it shows the ~ (tilda) for AC and also the straight lines for DC input.

I did not replace with the Piko transformer. Far more expensive than the one I have used. See my Dead Transformer post for details.
Thanks again for all your input.
