Inspired by the 'middle class' thread I ran a train of 'el cheapo' wagons today.

HLW opens with a LGB toytrain exploding van at the rear

I'd not run these for a while and they make a nice compact rake.

Earlier this week some boxcars got an outing

Another train of cheap stock, 2 Bachmanns and a very old LGB car

The locos from earlier duties were still in the yard.

And I ended the day with a bit of live steam action, although I neglected to get any nice steamy pics

Nice RR. Who needs top of the line stock. he cheap cars look great. Its all about the detail and landscape.

Really nice - all blends in well, nothing feels out of place. Homogenous? (used to deliver milk 48 years ago so I learnt that word) Now that turntable also looks to be a great piece of work!

The turntable is a commercial product, all I had to do was install it (which sounds easy, but wasn't).

as does the railway
