Thought this would be of interest if you need an excuse for a German loco in your British layoutView attachment 275271
Somewhere I have a picture of this beast in derelict condition when dumped at Penlee, as it os of the other side I tried to find it and post it. Doh who knows where it is, I am pretty well organised with my pictures and negs. Sadly not this one.

An interesting prototype, not too far removed from one of LGB's fieldbahn locos? Or maybe even a Stainz would make a good base in 7/8ths? I think the method of keeping the cab door closed is pretty ingenious though, I'll keep that in mind for a future build :D

An interesting prototype, not too far removed from one of LGB's fieldbahn locos? Or maybe even a Stainz would make a good base in 7/8ths? I think the method of keeping the cab door closed is pretty ingenious though, I'll keep that in mind for a future build :D
Possibly early health and safety cab door, if you got out that side you would be in Newlyn harbour ! :giggle: :giggle:

More likely to stop the coal falling off the cab floor, I would have thought.
