Just uploaded a video of loco no. 3 (Bickerton) on passenger duties to Youtube. She is the Hunslet to which I've just added a Massoth Power Buffer. She now negotiates pointwork without stuttering and happily runs more slowly than before.

PS - Video shot on my Canon A1200 digital (stills) camera and edited in Corel Video Studio. Sound effects ripped from Youtube videos of various WLLR locos and stock using http://www.any-video-converter.com/products/for_video_free/ < Link To Any Video Converter (a freebie) and edited inhttp://audacity.sourceforge.net/ < Link To Audacity (another freebie). Music downloaded from http://www.danosongs.com/ < Link To danosongs.com who provides royalty free music so long as you acknowledge the source. Edited in Audacity to extract the most relevant segment for the video.
 
It looks as if a sequence of characters in the Youtube address is confusing the GSC system. It keeps inserting a smiley into the address rather than presenting the address as a whole. Not sure how I can overcome this. I tried reloading the video to Youtube to get a different address but Youtube rejected it as a duplicate. I've already had a comment on the video from the Railway Channel so it clearly is accessible.

Could one of the moderators look at the posting to see if it can be sorted out?

The offending bit of the address seems to be the underlined bit (without the spaces):

Thanks for posting the video, you line looks wonderful, so much character. Fantastic work on the sound editing too! :thumbup:

I watched it using the address given and manually changing the final characters in the address to match those given in the post above.

I did also try to post the correct link, but it didn't work for me either...
 
Thanks for the comments and for also trying to upload the link - I'm reassured it's not just me.

Yes - took a while to fiddle around with the sounds - not quite right in that the brake squeal continues after the train has stopped - I may try fiddling with that a bit more and uploading again. My camera outputs videos as MOVs and my editing package doesn't handle MOV files very well so it's difficult synching the sound to the video - maybe I'll have to invest in a Mac (!!)

A lovely video of a lovely railway, I was disappointed when it ended.
 
Thanks for the new link - I couldn't get the first one to work. Nice video and good sound. Looking forward to the next journey over the line.
