Paint Match

I am bashing together a match truck to run with my Matra Crane and the LGB 27410 Tractor, question is does anybody know a good paint match for the yellow/orangey colour LGB uses?

It is almost certainly a RAL colour or whatever the previous German standard colour system was. If you can find the RAL or equivalent code, then Halford's larger stores can make up a spray can for you.

PS: On Google search with RAL colour chart.

If the RAL (or BS) route does not work a lot of auto paint re-finishing specialists (I use Milton Keynes Paints, which is local to me) will mix up a colour matched 300ml rattle can from a small paint chip sample alone. I don't know if it can be done with a 3D sample but it might be worth asking the question.
Max.

I to use auto refinishers Although in Bolton the only thing they want to know is is it a match indoors or out doors but seeing that you are doing a train load I woudn't think it matters too much.

Don't forget that some auto paint finishing colour can be dependent on the colour of primer selected and the amount of paint applied.

Yep, I've just found that out
